Q. My picture keeps freezing, why is this happening?
A. There are a number of possibilities – here’s a few checks you can make first: Check to see if any of the cables have worked loose at the back of your TV or digital box. If they have, push them firmly back into the connectors. Check if there is a known fault in your area.

Q. Why is my TV picture not clear?
A. If you have a large screen of 28inches or above and there is distortion on some channels, sometimes this can be resolved by turning the MPEG/Digital Noise Reduction setting to ON. Use the instructions from your TV manual. If problem persists, call us and we will be happy to help.

Q. Mr C told us “An internet site said I was not able to get Freeview in Steyning, West Sussex, is this true?”
A. We carried out an installation for Mr C to include four new points. He has problem free reception of Freeview since the install. In fact, his signal was so strong, we had to fit a device to reduce the signal strength!

Q. Mrs T told us “A TV Shop in Littlehampton said that Freeview was not available to me at my address, is this right?”
A. Pro-Com installed an aerial with an mast head amplifier and she has problem free reception now. She gets all the channels all the time and she is delighted.

Q. Mrs B from Lancing told us that she used a postcode checker to see if she could get Freeview and it said she was unable to so she called us out for a free survey to find out if this was true.
A. We installed a digital aerial and now she has Freeview without any problems at all.

Q. What is HD all about and why have it?
A. HD or High Definition is a development in digital television which provides a higher resolution than standard broadcast pictures. HD broadcasts give clear, vibrant colours with up to five times the detail of normal TV. To get the best viewing experience on your HD ready LCD or Plasma screen, you will need an HD receiver as without one, your TV will not be able to receive HD TV broadcasts. Contact us for information and guidance on the correct equipment for receiving High Definition.

Q. Is my TV going to be out of date?
A. Across the UK, there is a digital switchover taking place and will be nearing completion soon. This means that the analogue signal will be switched off. To ensure that you receive the full benefit of digital programming, you may need an aerial that is designed to work better with digital reception with either a Freeview set top box or a TV that has Freeview receiver built in. Freeview provides multiple channels including radio stations and has all the interactive features and enhanced teletext at your fingertips.
